First of all, I want to thank you for having let me revive the old n64 glories in my psp with Daedalus, a very promising n64 emu, it's awful (!!!). I think Daedalus will be a great n64 emulator, especially from september, because (i think you know) will be released a revisitated psp (slim & lite) with 64 mega of RAM instead of 32... so... I think daedalus will be mooooooooore performant (and I hope you'll put in Daedalus a full support of the TV video output) :-P I can't wait... I can't wait!!! So what are your expectatives? Do you have any idea? Let me know, please. Thank you for all...PENEhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17180852441791415487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13094505.post-76537858286372399192007-07-20T17:24:00.000+01:002007-07-20T17:24:00.000+01:00just a question:if the new(slimmer) psp ever gets ...just a question:
if the new(slimmer) psp ever gets homebrew compatibility,
you will have double the memory, will this mean faster n64 emulation, or is the amount of memory not important for the emulation speed?roelandbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03851337393525837882noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13094505.post-63060528794690096612007-07-15T04:03:00.000+01:002007-07-15T04:03:00.000+01:00I love the emu and it has really come a long way, ...I love the emu and it has really come a long way, but from r11 to r12 super mario 64 hasn't seemed to change (speed). Formaly from Maxconsole.com "the new PSP Slim will to ship with a TA-085 PCB motherboard and will receive a RAM upgrade so it will have 64MB of RAM instead of just 32MB." This means the Daedalus R.xx for the Psp will be faster for the new version of it. Hopefully you can use this to your advantage when the psp is finally hacked. Virtually all users use custom firmware nowadays.

3.xx kernel allows you to have access to the latest devkit functions, but more importantly, gives you a little extra ram - something which is vital with a project like this.

Look forward to your reply.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07256026544216794841noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13094505.post-10746654041316103102007-07-07T22:46:00.000+01:002007-07-07T22:46:00.000+01:00lovin your work man keep it up i was wondering if ...lovin your work man keep it up i was wondering if you could get starcraft 64 to work that would be really kickassSqueblehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09205649202992145514noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13094505.post-81117091441819864142007-07-07T03:27:00.000+01:002007-07-07T03:27:00.000+01:00Well, at least QJ set it straight. The imposter used a few errors that were rather glaring... the fact that he used the word "Bios" instead of the acronym "BIOS" was what should have tipped them off. The fact that you frequently use words like "disinformation" in your daily jargon speaks volumes about you. You are a coder (and an amazing one at that). Syntax and term accuracy are everything for a coder.

That and the fact that you post everything here first, and are quite impartial to the various PSP information sites.

Please don't let people's overzealousness and sometimes rash behavior sway you from your project. It worries me whenever a dev gets hammered with idiocy and imposters, as it usually ends up with the dev either stopping the project, or cutting ties with the public during development.

Remember, for every jerk there are three people who genuinely care for all the hard work you have been doing.

Cheers, and keep up the good work. The light at the end of the emulation tunnel is shining brighter every day.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11561871951878786682noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13094505.post-3978810384660948302007-07-05T05:03:00.000+01:002007-07-05T05:03:00.000+01:00hey StrmnNrmn, I was kind of wondering but does yo...hey StrmnNrmn, I was kind of wondering but does your daedalus also run with the psp cpu speed?
like cause It doesn't seem to and if you're not then that could be a boost in the framerates on daedalus wouldn't you think? The fact is that Linux in its current state only has one (now apparently unsupported) Nintendo 64 emulator -- mupen64. If it's not too much trouble I would delighted to see a PC version or at least a release of its source, but of course those are only my person wishes. I'm fairly certain, however, that the Linux emulation community would be elated considering their comments on the Project64 website.Charleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17246152661585875112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13094505.post-22842751650785948142007-07-04T21:00:00.000+01:002007-07-04T21:00:00.000+01:00how do you even use bios files in an emulator? lol...how do you even use bios files in an emulator? lol :)
anyways, way to clear things up strmnnrmn
good luck with the next daedalusmichaelphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17283614439465447107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13094505.post-62350519306815871882007-07-04T20:41:00.000+01:002007-07-04T20:41:00.000+01:00How's that vacation coming along? How's that vacation coming along?Jodyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06369867603703766523noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13094505.post-22047710445860000702007-07-04T20:36:00.000+01:002007-07-04T20:36:00.000+01:00You Released the source cone with R12 right?Maybe ...You Released the source cone with R12 right?

Maybe someone has almost made a custom R13 with the use of BIOS...Jaffa-Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05525986344218542442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13094505.post-51396611633688053452007-07-04T16:18:00.000+01:002007-07-04T16:18:00.000+01:00using BIOS is actully not a bad idea, i mean did u...using BIOS is actully not a bad idea, i mean did u see how fast gba worked after they used bios. it worked like perfect. but its ur emu do whaever u want, i apriciate this very much N64 my fav and ur the only one working on a emu. so thanks for all ur hard work and effort put into this. i have been using this since R1. and it haves come a great long way. keep it up.NeoPeohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13782902567820145234noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13094505.post-19640500467010915762007-07-04T10:47:00.000+01:002007-07-04T10:47:00.000+01:00... or some people just didn't get any attention f...... or some people just didn't get any attention from their parents and need other ways to get some...Rikki-Tikki-Tavihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13914491008242079591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13094505.post-1426291669899584652007-07-04T09:24:00.000+01:002007-07-04T09:24:00.000+01:00I knew it, I knew it :)!When I read this at maxcon...I knew it, I knew it :)!
When I read this at maxconsole.net I just thought... fake :).Christianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01574117297283589886noreply@blogger.com
