I don't mean to tease, but I am hoping to release the next build of Daedalus PSP tomorrow. I've spent the last couple of days polishing a number of graphical issues and I need to set myself a target date otherwise I'll just keep tinkering for ages :) I'll have a longer post tomorrow with details of the changes that have made it into R6.
In the meantime, I've answered a few of the most recent questions on the previous comments page.

Way to go!
Looking forward to this release!
Thanks StrmnNrmn that's exactly what I wanted! Sorry to anyone I offended I was stressed out the past couple of days. I got ill tempered and showed a bad side and I'm sorry. I just did some "jumping off HIGH cliffs into water" and had alot of fun and I'm feeling alot less stressed out now. So sorry to you guys and sorry for stalking the boards too. I guess I just was trying to get the comments section talkative. And I can't wait till tomorrow StrmnNrmn! Thanks for answering my question. But still I have one more, in games when some of the graphics look like straight jpg images in game, did those get better with this graphical fix. For example the big gate thing in mario 64 in the first level before you cross the big black balls that sway back and forth in that dip before the mountain. And also with the memory leak patch can you play mariokart longer now? Any other games play longer besides mario? I'm sure you'll answer this tomorrow and thanks!
Thanks for the update, I sure hope tommorow is a great day for the psp scene.
yes i cant wait btw i no this is random but it seems to play just as well wirelessly (using ir shell as without so that is what i like todo and will be doing when it comes out tommorow (hopefully) :^)
I will be working on the compatibility list AFAIK.
Hopefully it shows some nice results
Congrats on putting another build togethor strmnnrmn, Without mario freezing and a Save feature, its now possible to finish it... i got 15FPS on mario in some areas with the R5 build... Can't wait Thanks very much for your effort cheers...
i guess this is all graphic touch ups no speed revisions?
will goldeneye work now? o0
great wrok strmnnrmn
I think with the memory leak fix alot of new games will work. This R6 build should be a huge step in N64 emlulation for psp.
Will there be any control changes? We will need the controls wixed before we can play alot of games. We need the C buttons. (You need the c buttons for Zelda OOT and Quest and stuff)
Hey StrnrNrm i am your biggest fan. I haven't posted any comments yet because i didnt have a Blogger profile anyway i was wondering if you fixed the Black and Pruple checkered grapical errors. they were the only reason i could not play battletanx global assualt.
thank you
and also i was wondering if you got the Dynaric Recomplication working at full speed?
its 7.00 pm gmt, will this be out before 10.00 pmgmt? because thats my bedtime and i wanna play mario :D
great work strmnrmn always counting on ya
Also i have a blogspot pspjunk.blogspot.com
it is about psp suff and i will be sure to put your release on it when it comes out
As Jonesyxxiv has asked about control changes, I too would like to know. I know that you won't answer questions until the release of R6, but if you could state what you will be doing with the controls. The C-Stick has yet to be mapped out, and the D-Pad is also essential to some games, such as Pokémon Stadium. Even if it's a minority of games, it should still be important for the emulator to have it mapped out. A combination I would suggest would be O + D-pad for the C-Stick, and the D-Pad for the normal D-Pad.
Although I'm the owner of a bricked PSP at the moment, I'm still excited about R6's release, and future releases. As I say in every comment, I wish you luck with this.

Those sort of comments aren't helpful. If you'd followed any of Strmnnrmns earlier posts you'd know that he usually posts very late in the evening/very early hours of the morning. You can also see from his blog that he is based in London in the UK, time here is on British Summer Time (GMT +1) so 12pm-1am UK time is 7-8pm your time (if you are observing Daylight Saving Time).
In fact I've just noticed he has posted another comment to let you know he is working on getting the release out now following a 14 HOUR work shift.
Get off his back, he is doing this in his own time.
Remember he doesn't have to be doing this at all.
